Steven M. LaBruna, AIA, provides a multi-disciplined expertise to his work with Nagel Interior Architecture. As a partner, Mr. LaBruna’s experience brings a proven reputation and understanding in architecture, structural engineering and construction to the firm, allowing NIA to provide clients with comprehensive services and realtime practical solutions to the built environment.

A licensed architect, Mr. Labruna has over 25 years of diverse real estate experience encompassing; development, architecture, structural engineering, construction management and general contracting. He is accomplished at design and construction drawings having completed more than fifty million square feet of commercial, industrial, institutional and retail projects.

With almost ten years experience as a structural engineer, Mr. LaBruna’s expertise includes multistory steel, wood and concrete frame structures, concrete tilt/masonry slender wall industrial buildings, and seismic/lateral design. He was also a member of the International Conference of Building officials (ICBO) Uniform Building Code Committee, for Structural Seismic Design and Adoptive Fire Code Standards.

Mr. LaBruna is a licensed general contractor and co-owner of Camco Pacific Construction Company

serving as the firm’s President and CEO. In this capacity, the company has successful completed numerous development projects located throughout the 11 western states. New construction and renovation projects have been built for a diverse network of commercial, industrial and retail clients requiring service throughout the US western region. Since 1976, Camco Pacific Construction has successfully completed a wide range of general contracting assignments, totaling more than one billion in value.

Mr. LaBruna received his professional bachelor’s degree in architecture and engineering from the University of Southern California. He received an Executive MBA/OPM from Harvard University, Graduate School of Business.

Mr. LaBruna is a member of AIA, ICBO, and the USC School of Architecture Scholarship Board. He is also active on a business and philanthropic level through Young Presidents Organization, Families Forward, and Project Dignity.
